Our City – does not eat
The highest Jewish holiday is called Yom Kippur and will be celebrated this year on September 28th. The Day of Atonement is a day of fasting and it is best to spend a lot of time in the synagogue. You will find out what it looks like inside synagogues and that there were quite a few of them in Vienna. On this afternoon the Atelier will become a workshop for tableware – you will paint plates with fantastic patterns – when you are allowed to eat again.
The program is suitable for children ages 6 to 10. Younger guests are welcome to attend, but in this case we ask parents or escorts for their presence during the workshop.
Material contribution per child € 3, adults regular entry
