Holiday program: 良い旅を Yoi tabi o! Have a nice trip!
How about a trip? Really far away? Even if it is not that easy to travel this summer? At the Jewish Museum Vienna we are offering a journey in time around the world from August 17–21, 2020. We will meet the Ephrussi family with the famous hare and travel from Odessa to Vienna, from Paris to Mexico, via the USA and Kövecses to London and Tokyo. The hare is a netsuke that will also go looking for other animals in the showcases along with our travel guests. Square origami paper will be available in the atelier, which is first painted and then folded – as a hare, of course! You will naturally find out what a netsuke is, too.
The program is suitable for children ages 6 to 10. Younger guests are welcome to attend, but in this case we ask parents or escorts for their presence during the workshop.
Material contribution per child € 3, adults regular entry
